Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Leicester defender Wesley Fofana.
According to French news outlet GFFN, a deal has now been agreed between the two clubs to take the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
Discussions have been ongoing for the past few weeks and it now looks like they have finally found an agreement. It has been reported that the deal will be a world record for a central defender and Fofana will sign a 6-year contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2028.
Harry Maguire’s £80 million move from Leicester to Manchester United is currently the most expensive deal for a centre back.

Speculations about Fofana's future have been hotting up ever since Chelsea first showed interest last month, however, the King Power club have been playing hard ball over the negotiations and refused to sell unless their price tag is met.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Chelsea saw a third bid worth £70 million rejected by the Foxes.
Leicester lost 2-1 to Southampton last weekend, manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed that Fofana was training with the under 23s team.

He said: "In terms of Wesley, just a young player who is not quite in the right frame of mind at the moment to play.
"He's a good kid, he's been great for us whilst he's been here and at this moment it's a difficult one for him. You can't afford that, certainly playing a Premier League game if you're not 100 per cent fully focused."
When asked whether more players will leave the club, Rodgers stated that no players are for sale.

He continued: "None of them are for sale. That is the reality of it, however, I know how the game works and how the business works, but at this moment in time there are a few weeks to go in the window.
"I don't know what will happen but my only concentration is the players we have here and getting them back to that level of confidence."
With just under a week left in the transfer window, the time is against Leicester if they are to find a suitable replacement fro the Frenchman.

Ex Leicester striker and Foxes fan Gary Lineker is worried about his former club's situation.
He said on the Seaman Says podcast: "Financially the club is struggling. I think the owner’s business isn’t doing brilliantly at the minute - whether that has an impact on it, I don’t know. If you look at our squad it’s really good but what happens is this dreadful month of August.
"All your good players because of Leicester’s good recruitment so the likes of Fofana, [Youri] Tielemans and [James] Maddison have been getting interest from a lot of clubs. That plays with players' heads and then they get in a situation where the club don’t know where you are, you don’t know which players you’re going to have in September."
