Frank Lampard fell to his fourth Premier League loss in-a-row as Chelsea manager on Tuesday night, and the Blues can still get relegated.
When Lampard was brought in on an interim basis, until the end of the season, at the beginning of last month, to replace Graham Potter, his main task was in the Champions League.
Chelsea's season already looked done at that point, with European football for next season almost certainly not going to be earned through their league position.

But things have only got worse under the club's all time top scorer, with fans even calling for him to resign, following a recent loss to Brentford.
He appeared to take a dig at his own club, ahead of Tuesday's game, further annoying fans, as his legacy as a legend started to dim.
Tuesday's game was never likely to be easy for the Stamford Bridge side, but they basically surrendered to London rivals Arsenal in the first half.

They showed some signs of life at 3-0 down, in the second half, with Noni Madueke scoring a consolation, but ultimately, Lampard lost again.
And that defeat means that they could still go down, with just nine points separating them from relegation strugglers Nottingham Forest.
It's not highly likely to happen, with six clubs still having to overtake the Blues, but it could all start with Bournemouth beating Lampard's men on Saturday to go three points clear of them.

Forest, Leicester City and Sam Allardyce's Leeds United would all have to earn 10 points to leapfrog the two time Champions League winners.
Wolverhampton Wanderers would need three points more than Chelsea, and West Ham United six, meaning the west Londoners would likely have to lose all five of their games remaining.
With six losses under his belt already, including the two in the Champions League to Real Madrid, it would be quite incredible for the former Derby County manager to make it 11.
The 44-year-old would have to follow up a defeat to Bournemouth, with a loss to Forest, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United their next games.

Those three thee final games could still be enough to see the team go into the Championship, but it would take a hell of an effort from other clubs, who haven't exactly been known for winning this season.
