And now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims the Blues are considering Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang as their new striker.
In fact, discussions have already started on the player's side, according to Romano, but a bid has yet to be submitted to Barcelona, who are keen to offload the former Arsenal man.
Aubameyang is keen on remaining a Barcelona player ahead of the upcoming campaign, say The Daily Mail, but the Catalan giants would be willing to cash in to raise funds to register their new signings.

The 33-year-old Gabon international, who played under Thomas Tuchel during his time at Borussia Dortmund, certainly has plenty of Premier League experience.
During his time at Arsenal, he scored 92 goals in 163 appearances and became a fan favourite for large spells of his time at the Emirates.
Todd Boehly, meanwhile, is keen to bring in a left back, right back, centre-back, midfielder and forward to help Tuchel achieve his goals this season.
