Fans have reacted after Wesley Fofana praised Frank Lampard's return to Chelsea, who have lost every game since his appointment.
Lampard is back at Stamford Bridge as a caretaker manager until the end of the season following the sacking of Graham Potter.
He's still looking for his first win in his second managerial stint at the club, having lost to Wolves and Brighton in the Premier League as well as Real Madrid in the Champions League.

But Fofana has praised Lampard's impact, explaining what he's done to restore the confidence in the squad.
Speaking in an interview with Telefoot, he said: "He was welcomed back in the best way possible, because he’s Mr. Frank Lampard. He’s a club legend. He told us to get our confidence back, and play simple football again. To get back to the basics, really. His words moved us all, because it’s what we needed, to get our confidence back. And to realise that we’re fighting for a club. We’re fighting for a great club."
The 22-year-old added: "Chelsea have already done it after a difficult season before, with a new coach arriving. They won it in 2021. So I think it’s possible, it’s in the club’s DNA. We’ve had a bad season, we know that. Now it’s up to us to show what we’re capable of. There is quality in this squad.

"I’m trying to see the good side to it. I’m a Chelsea player, I will give my life for this club."
Fofana's words, though, have confused people online considering the club have lost three games in a row under Lampard.
One Twitter user wrote: "Didn't they lost every game since Lampard was appointed?"

A second questioned: "His impact on the squad has still resulted in defeats."
A third tweeted: "What useless confidence? He’s lost 3 straight games."
A fourth said: "Wtf? They are getting outplayed every game."
Another added: "Imagine how crap they’d be without confidence."

Chelsea suffered their 12th league defeat of the season as they lost 2-1 at home to Brighton on Saturday.
Lampard will be searching for his first win when his side face Real next Tuesday as they seek to overturn the first-leg deficit.
