Chelsea are a side that have been in disarray this season, as they currently sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table with four games left to play.
Before their crucial win against Bournemouth today, Chelsea fans were disappointed when they discovered that 19-year-old Carney Chukwuemeka had been left out of the squad by interim boss Frank Lampard again.
The teenager has been one of only a few bright sparks in a Chelsea team that has struggled for form this season, as his time has been limited to mostly substitute appearances.
Chelsea signed the promising young talent from Aston Villa in 2022 on a six year contract, and the club opted to keep him in the first team instead of loaning him out, giving fans the impression that Chukwuemeka would slowly be integrated into the first team.

So far, that is not how it has panned out as despite Chelsea's dismal form, the midfielder has not been given a proper run of games in the first team all season.
Only two of his 11 league appearances this season have been starts, and from the glimpses that Blues fans have seen of him, they believe that he should be given more game time.
One fan on Twitter said: "I know he scored but Gallagher is so poor man…Wish we would get to see Chukwuemeka"

Another fan raged at Frank Lampard's decisions saying: 32 year old Ziyech with his PSG socks is on instead of 23 year old João Felix or 18 year old Carney Chukwuemeka. He didn't even make the bench. Frank Lampard you literally could not be doing a worse job.
A different Chelsea fan has also seemingly urged the club to play more youngsters, saying: "Chelsea pre season should begin now. All players like Mudryk, Hall, Badiashile, Madueke, Chukwuemeka, and Fofana should be given more minutes. We have nothing to lose."
Chelsea currently sit in 11th place in the Premier League table having successfully beaten Bournemouth 3-1, though any hope of European football next season has banished, with the Blues now playing for pride as they enter the last four games of their season.
