Ahead of what is expected to be a big summer window for several Premier League clubs, Kimmich has already made it clear which side would be his preferred move.
As it stands, Kimmich's contract is set to expire at the of the season, and Bayern remain eager to tie the 30-year-old down for longer, with contract negotiations currently ongoing.
However, a report from Bundesliga transfer expert Christian Falk has revealed that Bayern has withdrawn its latest contract offer, further fuelling speculation that he could be on his way out this summer.

If Bayern can't agree a new contract with Kimmich, then he will leave the club this summer as a free agent, leaving him available to whichever club can present him with the best offer.
Should this happen, then the midfielder has reportedly created a setlist of five club that he would be open to joining, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, alongside La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Several of Kimmich's ideal clubs have been linked with a move for him in the past, but if he is to leave, then it's likely that a reunion with former Bayern manager Pep Guardiola would be his preferred option.

Back when the Spanish manager was linked with a return to Bayern Munich at the end of the 2019/20 season, Kimmich admitted that he would love to work with his former boss again.
"I know [Guardiola] and have a lot to thank him for. He took me from the second division and let me play in the Bundesliga," Kimmich said.
"We won the double together and after that season I became a player for Germany. So, of course, I won’t be against him coming back."
