Jose Mourinho is without a job in management at the moment after parting company with Roma last month - but the Portuguese already has his eye on his next role and is even learning a new language in a bid to help clinch it.
The 61-year-old left the Italian side after a string of poor results left Roma sitting ninth in the Serie A table, though Mourinho departed having delivered the UEFA Europa Conference League for the Stadio Olimpico side.
Mourinho has been one of the most successful coaches of the modern era, having delivered silverware with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Upon Mourinho's departure from Roma, the club's owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin said: "We would like to thank José on behalf of all of us at AS Roma for his passion and efforts since his arrival at the club.

“We will always have great memories of his tenure at Roma, but we believe that an immediate change is in the best interests of the club.
“We wish José and his assistants all the best in their future endeavours.”
Since Mourinho departed Roma, speculation has surrounded what the Portuguese manager's next job could be, with links emerging suggesting he could be in the running to take over at Barcelona, as Xavi is poised to depart the Camp Nou at the end of this season.

Throughout his career, Mourinho has made a point of speaking the language of the nation he has worked in, obviously speaking his native Portuguese for Porto, English in his spells at Chelsea, United and Spurs, Spanish at Real Madrid and Italian when at Inter Milan and most recently Roma.
According to reports, Mourinho is learning a new language to add to his repertoire with an eye on his job.
BILD reports that Mourinho is apparently learning German, with an eye on the Bayern Munich job.
Question marks surround the future of current Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel, ones that may increase following the 3-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen which has left the Bavarian side five points adrift of the summit of the Bundesliga table.

Should the German club part ways with Tuchel, then it appears Mourinho is ready and waiting to step in, which would see him manage in another of Europe's top leagues.
