A bizarre rule means Harry Kane's fourth Bundesliga hat-trick 'does not count'.
Kane struck a brace on Tuesday as Bayern beat Lazio 3-0 in the Champions League round of 16 second leg to reach the quarter-finals.
And he continued his rich vein of form on Saturday, banging in a trio of goals as the Bavarians ran riot against Mainz at the Allianz Arena.

Thomas Tuchel's side ran out 8-1 winners, with Kane reaching 30 Bundesliga goals in just 25 games.
The England captain also laid on a stunning assist from Jamal Musiala in another incredible display.
But in a strange turn of events, Kane's record-breaking hat-trick is not recognised in Germany and he is still searching for his first one under their rules.
Advert
While in England three goals at any point is considered a hat-trick and results in the match ball being handed over, it is not quite the case in Germany.
As per Goal, for it to be a hat-trick, all three goals must be scored in the same half and without anyone else scoring in between.
Kane opened the scoring in the 13th minute before Leon Goretzka made it 2-0.

His second goal was scored in first half stoppage time - before Thomas Muller, Masala and Serge Gnabry got in on the act.
Spurs' record goalscorer then made it 7-1 in the 70th minute.
He has also scored three against VFL Bochum, Darmstadt and Borussia Dortmund in his debut campaign but the strict regulations do not view any of the hauls as proper hat-tricks.
