RB Leipzig forward Brian Brobbey reported back for pre-season training on Tuesday morning ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 campaign, but he didn't exactly look too thrilled about it.
The 20-year-old forward, who signed a four-year deal with Leipzig in March last year, failed to find the net in 14 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
It was a frustrating start to life in Germany and things didn't get much better.

After a disappointing five-month spell at the Red Bull Arena, Brobbey re-joined Ajax on loan until the end of the season, scored seven goals in 12 games and helped Erik ten Hag's side lift the Eredivisie title.
As a result of his fine form towards the end of last season, Brobbey has has been strongly linked with a permanent return to Ajax in recent weeks.

In fact, Brobbey has already agreed personal terms with his former club, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who claims the Dutch outfit are closing in on a deal, with the agreement at its 'final stages'.
Romano says the forward is 'waiting' for a deal to be signed, meaning he is still contracted to RB Leipzig.
As you can see from the above Twitter post, footage of the striker 'trudging' onto the training pitch emerged on Tuesday morning as talks continue to swirl surrounding his future.

Sky Sports reporter Philipp Hinze posted the clip alongside the caption: "There have certainly been more motivated performances. Of course, such transfer poker is also corrosive for players."
Brobbey was pictured doing some gym work in Ajax training year last month ahead of a possible return.
It was reported earlier this month that Leipzig are demanding a €25 million fee for the player, while Ajax are offering €15 million, according to Telegraaf reporter Mike Verweij.
