Barcelona are reportedly confident that they can seal a huge double deal in the summer transfer window.
The La Liga leaders are set to dive into the market once again when the transfer window opens in July.
Due to their well-documented financial troubles, the Catalan club are eyeing free transfers to strengthen their squad.

Ahead of what could be a huge summer for the club, there have been reports that Barcelona boss Xavi is targeting an epic double deal.
According to Spanish news outlet Football Espana, Barcelona are confident that they will be able to sign Lionel Messi and Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Argentina legend Messi’s contract with French club Paris Saint Germain is due to expire at the end of the 22/23 season.

At this stage, there has been no agreement between Messi and PSG over a potential new deal, meaning that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will become a free agent in the summer.
According to TEAMtalk, Gundogan is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium for free after rejecting a new deal offered to him by City.
When asked about a potential move to the Camp Nou, Gundogan reportedly said: “Barcelona deal done? My future is not yet decided — obviously, there are talks in the background.

“But I won’t go into details now. I have not signed anything yet.”
Apart from Messi and Gundogan, Barcelona have also been linked with a move for Liverpool’s outgoing forward Roberto Firmino.
After eight years at Anfield, it was confirmed last month that Firmino will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

He said: “Unfortunately Bobby picked up a muscle issue a little bit.
“We will see how long that takes. It’s not too serious but he is definitely out for tomorrow and next week we have two more games, I would say they are impossible as well and then we will see. We have to take it day by day.”
