Barcelona have been rinsed on social media for a plain and underwhelming announcement video for Ousmane Dembele's new contract.
The France international's deal at the Blaugrana had expired on June 30 and there was intense speculation surrounding his future.
But Dembele has eventually put pen to paper on a new two-year deal which is said to include a salary cut but a number of performance-related bonuses. Reports also state there is a release clause in the contract.

After it was widely media reported in the media, Barca officially confirmed the news on Thursday morning.
The video announcement saw Dembele's name written on a whiteboard with '2022' below it. He then scribbled it off and replaced it with '2024' to update his stay at the Nou Camp.
Yet it didn't go down well on social media, with many slating the idea and joking that cash-strapped Barca had no budget to produce a proper video:
Dembele has been with Barcelona since 2017 when he joined as a 20-year-old from Borussia Dortmund for an initial €105 million fee and replaced Neymar following the Brazilian's record-breaking transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

He's made 150 appearances, scoring 32 goals and assisting a further 34 in five seasons.
The two-footed winger has struggled with injuries but clearly still has the trust of manager Xavi Hernandez even with stiff competition from Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres and new signing Raphinha.
Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Bayern Munich were all heavily linked with the World Cup winner.

Dembele will participate in a public signing streamed on the club's official channels and will now able to start training again with the first-team and join the squad for the pre-season trip to the United States.
He had been working solo at the clubs Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training base in order to build up his fitness.
