Liam Gallagher and Jamie Carragher have been embroiled in a fiery Twitter spat after Manchester City clinched the Premier League title on the final day of the season.
Despite trailing 2-0 against Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa, City scored three late goals within the space of six minutes to secure an emphatic comeback victory.
The 3-2 win meant City collected their fourth Premier League title in five years, while Liverpool's quadruple hopes went up on smoke.

10 years on from Sergio Aguero's historic title-winning goal, City had completely another remarkable last-gasp smash-and-grab.
Emotions were clearly running high as fans flocked to both the Etihad Stadium pitch and social media pitch to celebrate – legendary music artist Liam Gallagher being one of them.
The former Oasis front man is a die-hard City fan and immediately went on a Twitter rampage.

One tweet read: "Gerrard can kiss my arse as well the bumbaclart his old clubs fans smash our bus up MCFC CHAMPIONS."
While another said: "F**k off slippy Gerrard."
But it wasn't long before he turned his attention to another Merseyside great.
"What you saying Carra [Jamie Carragher] you [bell] end," Gallagher tweeted.

But Sky Sports pundit Carragher, clearly not in the mood after seeing his side miss out on the title, hit right back.
Carra replied: "I’m saying you’ll never win the Champions league and Oasis are s***e compared to the Beatles. That work?"
Gallagher's initial tweet racked up a fair few likes, but Carra's rapid response seemed to give everyone a tickle.

City super-fan Gallagher, probably celebrating long into the night, did return serve later on.
"Eh Carra you got s**t banter for a scouser f**king hell la you been hanging out with [Gary] Neville too long," he tweeted.
"Oasis p**s all over the Beatles how many times did they do Knebworth."
Overall, the little heated back-and-forth between two legends of their own cities seemed to get people talking.

For Red fans, anyway, seeing Carra come out swinging appeared to somewhat lighten the mood.
