Barcelona star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was asked to pick between Tottenham and Real Madrid - he gave an answer.

The former Arsenal man moved to the Camp Nou midway through last season and appears to still have some loyalties to his old team.

That's because he was asked to pick between Arsenal's cross-town rivals Tottenham and his current side's nemesis Real.

Appearing on ESPN for 'You Have To Answer', the 33-year-old hesitated for a moment before siding with the Spanish club.

Needless to say, Arsenal fans loved his answer.

One Twitter user wrote: "Sitting in a Barca shirt and still chose Real Madrid over Spurs hahaha."

A second tweeted: "Say what you want about Aubameyang. But no #Arsenal fan can hate on this

A third added: "Once a gooner, always a goooner."

Another commented: "He hates Spurs so much, he didn’t even think."

Aubameyang was asked to pick between a bunch of other football and non-football related topics, including the age-old Lionel Messi vs. Cristiano Ronaldo debate.

He opted for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi.

The Gabon international also backed Brazil legend Pele over the late, great Diego Maradona.

He had a long think over Kylian Mbappe vs. Thierry Henry, eventually picking the Gunners legend.

Aubameyang also showed his support for Karim Benzema by picking him instead of Spurs' main man Harry Kane.
