You can now take a look around AS Monaco's new £48 million training complex, featuring a specialised medical centre, an auditorium and of course, those breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
The Ligue 1 side have built one of the most unique training settings in world football.
With breathtaking coastal views and the stone quarries that helped build the Fontvieille district, those involved in the club wanted to integrate the complex into its environment, ensuring a sense of preservation and sustainability.

In fact, the soil removed for the earthworks was reused during the construction phase.
Four years later and with the help of some serious investment from the club's owner, Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, Monaco presented the new AS Monaco Performance Center in front of 200 guests and 40 journalists.
Here is the finished product. Imagine training with those views in the background...
At the heart of a five hectare complex, there are three UEFA / FFF pitches as well as several new spaces dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, including a medical center with specialised equipment for recovery training.

The Performance Center, built with seven levels, will be a "high-level working and living space for the professional team and management", according to the club's official website.
It is the result of president Rybolovlev’s desire.
From the moment he took over the club, the 55-year-old wanted to provide AS Monaco with an ultra-modern work tool for the present and the future.

His aim is to give the first team players the best possible conditions to enable them to achieve a level of performance in line with the Club’s ambitious sporting project.
"The launch of the new Performance Center is a very important and historic moment for our club," Rybolovlev said.
"It was a major project, that was both difficult and ambitious, and which took a long time to complete. We started discussing the idea of a new training center ten years ago.

"Since the start of construction in the summer of 2018, through the completion of the building in June 2021, to the opening of the whole complex today, four years have passed.
"The new facility allows AS MONACO to offer its current professionals and, in the future, the next generation of players, the opportunity to train in optimal conditions.
"I am certain that these new facilities designed for our athletes will contribute to the success of our team on the pitch."
