David Ornstein has claimed Arsenal could make a surprise move for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard.
The Gunners saw a deal for their No.1 transfer target, Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhailo Mudryk, hijacked by Chelsea last weekend.
Indeed, the table toppers are now pursuing alternatives, with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta reportedly keen to add an attacker to the squad.

As reported earlier, Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar made contact with Raphinha’s representation, hoping to secure a deal for the Barcelona star before the January 31 deadline.
However, another player that has been tipped to join the north London side is Brighton star Trossard.
Trossard to Arsenal
According to transfer guru Ornstein, Trossard to Arsenal is a prospective transfer worth keeping an eye on.

The 28-year-old Belgium star has reportedly fallen out with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and flown to Brussels.
Speaking on NBC Sports Ornstein said: “You have also seen Leandro Trossard of Brighton and Hove Albion linked.
“He very publicly has fallen out of favour at the club. So that might be one to watch, but I don’t know about active movements as things stand.”
Trossard, who is out of contract in the summer of 2024, is reportedly aware of interest from the Premier League's top six’, while his agent recently claimed he had been “humiliated” by De Zerbi.

The player’s representative, Josy Comhair, claimed the Italian coach has not spoken to Trossard in weeks after a training-ground incident, while he was left out of the match-day squad for Brighton’s last two games against Liverpool and Middlesbrough.
However, De Zerbi is reportedly open for Trossard to be reintegrated into the squad, while there is a feeling that relations between the parties can be mended.
