Newcastle have been dealt a new injury blow ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Tuesday evening, with another player joining their injury list.
The Magpies sit third going into the fixture at the Emirates Stadium against Mikel Arteta's side, who are currently seven points clear at the top of the division.
They defeated Leicester 3-0 on Boxing Day with only one fit striker - Chris Wood - available to them, with Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak both on the sidelines.

Whilst Wilson returned for the weekend's clash against Leeds, Isak remains an absentee through injury.
Paul Dummett, Emil Krafth and Jonjo Shelvey have also been absent following the World Cup break, with Dummett already having been nursing a calf problem. Krafth, meanwhile, suffered an ACL injury in September.
And Eddie Howe has been handed another selection issue ahead of the Arsenal fixture.

After missing the game against Leeds on New Year's Eve, Howe has confirmed that defender Matt Targett will be absent for 'a period of time'.

The former Southampton left-back, who has made 10 league appearances this season, is suffering from a heel injury, with his manager revealing the full extent of the problem.
Howe explained: "He's been managing it for a couple of months, but it's got to the point where it's too painful for him to carry on. When I say a couple of months, I'm including the break in that as well."
Shelvey will be out for six to eight weeks, whilst Isak and Dummett are also not available for selection as they edge closer to a return.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have no fresh injury issues ahead of the Newcastle clash, although two players in particular may have to be cautious over the 90 minutes.

Bukayo Saka and William Saliba are currently on four yellow cards, with a fifth yellow card incurring a one-match ban. Should either player be booked tonight, they would miss the upcoming north London derby against Tottenham.
