Mykhailo Mudryk’s move to Arsenal is not yet finalised despite reports claiming otherwise, according to journalist Alex Crook.
The Gunners have made the 22-year-old the No.1 transfer target in January, and have already seen two bids for the winger, worth up to £62million, rebuffed by Shakhtar Donetsk.
It is believed that the Ukrainian giants are holding out for some £88million.

However, it appears the transfer debacle is coming to a close, with some reporters claiming a deal for Mudryk has finally been finalised.
Indeed, ESPN journalist Jorge Baravalle claimed yesterday that Murdyk will become an Arsenal player, inferring that a deal had been agreed upon by all relevant parties.
Baravalle tweeted, originally in Spanish: “Mudryk will be an Arsenal player. Arteta is left with one of the jewels of European football.”
However TalkSPORT journalist Crook has claimed that Mudryk's prospective move to north London is yet to be finalised.

“He believes Mudryk can really add something in the second half of the season. And I was told last night that this one is getting closer.
“It’s not done yet, but it’s getting closer. I think Mudryk to Arsenal will happen.”
Furthermore, speaking to Laura Woods on the Sports Breakfast, Crook reiterated: “I think that will happen.

“Negotiations are still going on, I know that Chelsea’s name keeps being bandied around, but he wants to join Arsenal.
“Mikel Arteta is very keen to sign him. I think the two clubs are getting closer.”
Mudryk has been open about his desire to move to Arsenal, having opened up about his admiration of the club’s style of play in a November interview.
Meanwhile, in the player’s social media posts, he’s hinted at a desire to move to the Emirates, having shared pictures of him watching the club in action as Arsenal beat Brighton 4-2.
