Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk striker Mykhaylo Mudryk, according to multiple reports.
Mikel Arteta has made the forward his priority this January transfer window, having already had one bid rejected by the Ukranian side.
Shakhtar are thought to want a whopping €100 million for the player, having used Manchester United winger Antony as a benchmark for his price tag.

As talks have progressed, the Gunners side have faced competition from London rivals Chelsea, who are also keen on signing Mudryk. Although, Arteta remains persistent that he will not over-pay for his services.
The player's personal preference is thought to remain Arsenal, and now the club look to be stepping up their pursuit for the Ukranian, who has seven goals and seven assists in just 12 league appearances for Shakhtar this season.
Shakhtar are 'cracking'
As the Mudryk saga appears to be reaching it's conclusion, journalist Ryan Taylor has offered a positive update for Arsenal fans, suggesting that the club are closer than ever to signing the 23-year-old.

Taylor tweeted: "Shakhtar Donetsk finally show signs of cracking over Mykhaylo Mudryk as Arsenal make positive steps towards agreement during talks on Monday. First time Gunners have received indication deal can be struck on what they consider to be realistic terms."
He also believes a deal could be made by the end of the week, stating: "Following a recent stalemate, there is now growing confidence that a deal for Mudryk could potentially be struck by the end of the week as Arsenal press to find an agreement with Shakhtar. Fresh talks are already scheduled between club chiefs," Taylor told The Express
"Having continually pointed both Arsenal and Chelsea towards their £85m valuation, Shakhtar are now understood to be close to agreeing a final figure with the Gunners as talks continue over the payment structure of the transfer," he added.
If Arsenal were to complete a deal for Mudryk soon, he could be used from the off, with a tricky run of fixtures ahead against Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City in their next three Premier League outings.
