Chelsea could make a stunning new approach for Arsenal target Moises Caicedo, according to Miguel Delaney.
The Gunners have had two bids worth up to £70million rejected for Caicedo, with Brighton having insisted the 21-year-old is not for sale.
Arsenal are eager to bolster their midfield ranks to consolidate their place at the top of the Premier League table.

While the club remain in talks with the Ecuador international, Brighton, who are chasing European football, are unlikely to let the youngster leave this month.
However, Chelsea, who saw a £55million bid for Caicedo rebuffed by the Seagulls earlier in the window, could test Brighton’s resolve for a second time before Tuesday’s deadline.
Chelsea to make second Caicedo bid
According to The Independent’s Delaney, Chelsea could go back in for Caicedo before the end of the transfer window.

The Blues are reportedly prioritising securing a deal for Enzo Fernandez, the World Cup’s Young Player of the Tournament.
However, the fee needed to secure the Argentina international would be in the same region as the price Brighton have placed on Caicedo.
Chelsea have reportedly bid some £105.6million for Fernandez in a move that would make him the British transfer record signing.
Should the deal go through it would eclipse the £100million Manchester City paid to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in 2021.

However, the BBC claim there is no indication Benfica will accept the Blues’ offer. The Portuguese giants have previously accused Chelsea of trying to unsettle the 22-year-old, with the Portuguese side's manager Roger Schmidt declaring their pursuit "closed".
If Chelsea see their Fernandez bid rejected, it is possible they will return with a bid for Brighton’s wantaway midfielder.
