Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been mocked by fans after claiming he has seen ‘nobody do it’ at Anfield against Liverpool this season.
On Sunday afternoon, Arteta’s men arrived at Anfield looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points.
Liverpool meanwhile were hoping to get their race for top four back on track.

Arsenal started in spectacular style as goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus gave them a 2-0 lead inside the first 30 minutes.
Mohamed Salah got Liverpool back into the match with three minutes left of the first half.
During the second half, Liverpool were dominant as they pushed for an equaliser, which eventually came in the 87th minute courtesy of Roberto Firmino.

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale made two late saves to deny Liverpool all three points.
After the match, Arteta spoke about the challenge of playing at Anfield.
The Spaniard said: “I haven't seen anyone do it in this Premier League season, nobody. They beat every big team here and could have been 4-0 up vs Real Madrid after 20 minutes so it's extremely difficult. They are going to have moments and we did deal with them. Our goalkeeper played a big part.

“We could have taken three points - if we played like we did [at the start] for another 15 minutes the game would have taken a different trajectory - but we didn't, and we have to take the point.”

However, fans were quick to mock Arteta’s comments on social media.
One said: “Eh?! There’s literally at least half a dozen teams that have done the same this season.”

Another tweeted: “The team that just got smashed to smithereens against Madrid the other week, conceding 5? That team?”
A third fan added: “Leeds, Brighton, Chelsea, Madrid probably a couple more I’ve missed have all done it.”
Someone else wrote: “Leeds and Real Madrid beat us. Not getting annihilated is an improvement for Arsenal here though.”
As a result of the draw, Arsenal now hold a six-point lead at the top of the table over Manchester City. Who will come out on top? Only time will tell.
