Arsenal fans on social media are blaming the 'Kardashian curse' on their failure to win the Premier League this season.

But Mikel Arteta's side experienced a dip in form, with Arsenal supporters pinning the club's downfall on Kim Kardashian's visit of the Emirates back in March.
The social media influencer attended Arsenal vs. Sporting CP - a game where key player William Saliba was forced off injured.
The North London club lost to Sporting on penalties as they were knocked out of the Europa League. They were also eight points clear at the top of the league at the time of the 42-year-old's visit.

Of course, their pursuit of the title collapse, with Arsenal fans online convinced Kardashian put a curse on the side from her trip to the club.
One Twitter user wrote: "I blame Kim Kardashian for this Arsenal downfall."
A second tweeted: "Arsenal would’ve lifted the prem by now if it wasn’t for Kim Kardashian."
A third added: "The fall of Arsenal started when she visited the Emirates, I'll never forgive you Kim Kardashian."

A fourth said: "Since the day Kim Kardashian went to the Emirates Stadium to watch Arsenal, I knew they would crash out of the Europa League and bottle the Premier League. The Kardashian curse!"
Another joked: "If Kim Kardashian cares about Arsenal at all she will attend city’s CL final against inter."
Arsenal surrendered their lead and miss out on winning their first league title since 2004. Speaking after his team's defeat at the City Ground, Arteta bemoaned the amount of goals his side have conceded in the run-in.

"We conceded a lot of goals in those games, 16 goals," he said.
"You have to be exceptional in everything. They [Forest] are not a team that gives you any margins and we have extended those margins too far," he added. "Today we gave them a goal and chances for another goal. We can’t put the guilt on someone. We should have been better as a team and in the last few weeks we have fallen short."
