Arsenal are interested in Barcelona forward Ferran Torres, according to reputable journalist Dean Jones.
The Gunners, have been on the market for a winger since the summer, with Shakhtar Donetsk's Mykhailo Mudryk thought to be their priority target.
However, the injury suffered by Gabriel Jesus while representing Brazil at the World Cup may force the Gunners into signing an attacker that can play centrally.

Indeed, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is said to be interested in former Manchester City forward Torres, who currently plies his trade for Catalan giants Barcelona.
Arsenal in for Torres?
Jones has claimed that Arsenal “clearly believe” Torres will be available for transfer in January, with the club having previously enquired about the 22-year-old’s availability in the summer.
Speaking to GiveMeSport Jones claimed: “They really like Ferran Torres, and they clearly believe he might become available because they inquired about him in the summer as well.
“So, if they’re sniffing around him again now, they sense that something’s up.”

Torres, registered 16 goals and four assists in his 43 appearances of City, and has clocked up a similar tally at Barcelona.
In his 44 outings for Xavi Hernandez’s side, the forward has netted 12 times and provided seven assists.
While Torres is not the most clinical of forwards, his intelligence and technical ability led him to be described as “world-class” by his Barcelona boss.
In a February press conference, Xavi said, via SportsMole: "Perhaps Ferran has surprised me the most. He's a player on another level, he's spectacular: how he understands the space, links play, doesn't lose the ball, his defensive work... he's world-class. He's a great signing, one I wanted, and a wonderful footballer,"
