Arsenal have been told to buy England midfielder Declan Rice.
The Gunners’ imperious early season form has seen Mikel Arteta’s side go top of the Premier League, five points clear of Manchester City.
However, if Arsenal are to mount a serious title charge they will need to bring in some extra bodies in the January transfer window. Arteta has few players that could effectively replace first-choice midfielders Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey if either were to pick up an injury.

In turn, the Gunners have been linked with a number of players. Few, however, would create as much of a clamour as West Ham midfielder Rice.
Rice to Arsenal?
Kevin Campbell claimed Arsenal would be better off signing Rice than his England team-mate Jude Bellingham.
While the 19-year-old Bellingham is one of the most sought-after midfielders in world football, Campbell claimed that Rice would be the ideal successor to Partey at Arsenal.

Speaking on The Highbury Squad YouTube channel, the former striker said: “I truly believe this is the truth.
“If you are going to pay £100m, who would you buy? Would you buy Bellingham or would you buy Rice?
“I’d buy Rice. All day long.
“Bellingham is good and he is younger. But the game Rice has is perfect for what we have or what we are going to need.

“I am thinking he is a natural successor to Thomas Partey, who does things in a different way, but he can control a game himself, like Bellingham.”
Rice has been linked with several Premier League sides, having developed into a crucial player for both West Ham and England.
Earlier this year West Ham manager David Moyes insisted the England star was not for sale unless a team met his asking price of £150million.
