VAR inexplicably FORGOT to draw offside lines whilst checking Brentford's controversial goal against Arsenal on Saturday.
Arsenal were on course to move eight points clear of nearest rivals Manchester City after January signing Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the 66th minute.
However, eight minutes later, Brentford leveled through Ivan Toney from a set-piece, which was the subject of a lengthy VAR check from official Lee Mason.

Christian Norgaard was in an offside position when he crossed for Ivan Toney. If the VAR lines had been drawn, then the goal would have been ruled out, according to The Daily Mail.

The point at the Emirates leaves Mikel Arteta's side six points ahead of Pep Guardiola's team, but the Blues now have the chance to knock them off top spot should they beat Aston Vila today and then secure three points against the leaders next Wednesday, when they meet for the first time in the league this season.

Speaking after the draw with Brentford, Arteta bemoaned the offside decision as he said 'different rules' were applied for Toney's goal.
"I just looked at it back and it is offside," he said. "We'll probably be given an explanation later in the week but today we haven't got any.
"Looking at the images, you have to apply certain principles in defending and you do that by sticking to the rules and suddenly you apply different rules then you have to change your principles.

"So, tell us before because then you don't hold the line that high because you're always going to have an advantage if you get blocked.
"It's too late, the goal was allowed, we dropped two points."
Arteta added: "The second one, I don't know. You have to see the line the way they see it with the camera.
"It's irrelevant, it's gone."
