Brighton and Hove Albion star Alexis Mac Allister delighted some young fans as he showed off his World Cup winner’s medal.
The 24-year-old midfielder was part of the Argentina squad that went all the way in Qatar as they managed to get their hands on the World Cup trophy after a dramatic penalty shootout win against France. Mac Allister made six appearances in the tournament and registered one goal and one assist.
After celebrating his country’s monumental achievement, he is now back with his club Brighton.

Mac Allister was filmed by a fan as he left the club’s training ground, as some young fans approached him, he delighted the fans by showing them his World Cup medal. You can watch the footage below.
The young fans had the opportunity to get their hands on the medal and posed for pictures with Mac Allister.
On the back of his stellar performances at the World Cup, Mac Allister has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are all said to be keeping a close eye on the midfielder.
However, in a recent interview with Albion TV, Mac Allister stated that he is in no rush to leave the Seagulls.
He said: “I try not to read too much. I always say I am happy here, I don’t have any rush to leave. I feel really good, I’m really grateful with this club, my team-mates and all the people who work here. I’m just focused on the next game and this club.

“It was a good World Cup for this club and for the players who went to the World Cup. We know we’ve got a good team with really good players. This is a tough league, it will be hard, but we will try to finish as high as we can.”
Mac Allister returned to action for Brighton in the FA Cup and scored twice against Middlesbrough last week.
