Alejandro Garnacho made his Argentina debut on Thursday afternoon and fans believe they know why he picked the number 28 for his first international appearance.
It has been a breakout season for Garnacho, with the young Manchester United player already a fan favourite at Old Trafford.
There's no real surprise that he's been given the seal approval on a list of players that Erik ten Hag should keep and those he should get rid of.

Highlights such as late winners against Fulham in the Premier League and against West Ham United in the FA Cup made a mockery of his age.
The club signed him from Spain for a very low price and he could have represented the country of his birth at international level.
Instead he chose to play for Argentina, who he qualifies for through his mother, after playing for the South Americans at under 20 level.

His form for United earned him a call up to the senior squad for their two post season friendlies against Australia on Thursday and against Indonesia next Monday.
The game against the Aussies brought him his debut as he came on as a second half substitute, replacing Nicolas Gonzalez with 15 minutes to go.
He was wearing the number 28 on his kit and eagle eyed United fans believe that it's due to his love for Cristiano Ronaldo, who had that squad number when he first broke through at Sporting.
Whilst Ronaldo might not be the most popular man at the Theatre of Dreams these days there was a clear connection between the two forwards when they were both there.

Garnacho appeared to ask the five time Ballon d'Or winner for permission to use his celebration on scoring his first goal for United.
The 18-year-old won't annoy Lionel Messi with his love for Ronaldo however, because he shares just as much passion for the Argentina ace.
And on Thursday it was the Inter Miami star who reminded everyone of his genius during the game, scoring his quickest ever goal.
He also showed off some more sparkling skills as he danced around the Australia defence and made them all look a little stupid, Garnacho will have plenty of his own opportunities to do that in the coming years.
