Aaron Ramsdale has convinced fans he has unlocked his “telekinesis ability” after incredible footage emerged of him ahead of Arsenal’s opener against Crystal Palace.
Bukayo Saka’s cross from the right flank found its way into the path of Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli, who managed to find space between him and Palace defender Joel Ward.
Martinelli then unleashed a powerful left-footed strike past Palace ‘keeper Joe Whitworth to fire the Gunners into the lead in the first half at the Emirates.

Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead before half-time before completing his brace in the second half, with Granit Xhaka adding his name to the scoresheet after the break.
Mikel Arteta’s men moved eight points clear of second-place Manchester City after Sunday’s 4-1 thumping of Palace, who sacked Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira as manager on Friday.
Arsenal fans on social media were left in delight after footage emerged of Martinelli’s opener from the camera behind Ramsdale.

Ramsdale could be spotted walking around during the build-up of Arsenal’s opener before exactly doing Martinelli’s kick movement with his left leg.
“He’s unlocked the telekinesis ability,” one fan tweeted.

“Ramsdale was like, ‘I knew it,’” another posted.
While a fifth tweeted: “Ramsdale out here pulling all the strings.”
Arsenal manager Arteta admitted that he was thrilled with his side’s performance after Sporting CP dumped them out of the Europa League on Thursday.

“Really pleased with the performance, the energy, the determination that we showed again, the way we controlled the game,” he told Sky Sports.
“It was tough after playing 120 minutes in the week, wondering how the team would react but they reacted brilliantly and the crowd was at it again. Really happy.”
