Red Bull have made a decision on the future of Sergio Perez amid his poor form in Formula One.
Perez's team remain top of both the drivers and constructors championships heading into the summer break but have come under intense pressure from McLaren who have closed the gap in the constructors to just 42 points,
Max Verstappen has a 78 point lead ahead of Lando Norris but is without a race win in four following Lewis Hamilton's success in Belgium after George Russell was disqualified.

It's Perez's struggles in the Red Bull car that has been the main focus of the team's struggles, with the Mexican dropping off significantly after signing a contract extension to keep him on the team into 2025 with the option to extend until 2026.
Despite his recent underperformance amid fierce speculation Red Bull could be about to make a drastic mid-season change to their drive line up, team principal Christian Horner has confirmed Perez would be staying for the remainder of the season.
"Checo remains a Red Bull Racing driver, despite all the speculation of late. We're looking forward to seeing him perform at circuits where he's done well before, after the summer break," Horner said in front of hundreds of workers at the Red Bull factory according to De Telegraaf.

Perez will be looking to restore the team's faith in him when the season resumes on August 23rd in the Netherlands.
Speaking after a fourth-placed finish in Spa, Verstappen claimed Red Bull's biggest problem was their car and not Perez's current slump.
He told PlanetF1: "Our main concern is the car.

"That’s what we should focus on mainly because I think if you look at Checo’s weekend, it was very positive.
“Of course in the race, it just shows that we have difficulties still with the tyre life. I think that should be our main priority.”
