The average power rankings for the 2024 Formula 1 season have been calculated, and fans are baffled by the results.
F1 in 2024 has been an absolute treat, with seven separate race winners with six of those seven winning on multiple occasions throughout the season.
After each race weekend, F1 publishes power rankings through their sponsor Aramco which ranks each driver's performance out of 10.

According to Formula1.com a five-judge panel 'takes machinery out of the equation' when deciding on each driver's score to create a level playing field.
Some notable rankings from this season include Charles Lelcerc's 10.0 rating at Monaco, Lewis Hamilton's 9.4 at Silverstone, and Max Verstappen only receiving a 9.8 for his masterclass in Brazil.
With just three races to go in 2024, the ranking is almost complete but fans have been left baffled at the table as Lewis Hamilton doesn't make the top 10.

Surprisingly, it's Lando Norris who leads the way with a season average of 8.3 while Verstappen sits close behind with 8.2.
Norris is second in the championship but has come under significant criticism for his performances particularly for his race starts with just one of his seven poles converted to a lap one lead.
However, there are no doubts the Brit has been one of the top performers this year as he has secured all of his three wins this season, including a dominant display in Singapore.
The average Power Rankings for the 2024 season:

Fans made their voices clear online, with many disagreeing with the rankings.
One fan commented: "Charles has been the best driver. Ferrari has been very consistent without a rocket ship."
Another added: "Norris lost his P1 position and Max came from the back of the Grid and made a legendary performance."
A third replied: "Max has been leading the championship for the WHOLE season and he gets 2nd place? This makes no sense."
Another shocked fan posted: "So many questions. Why is Verstappen not 1st? Why is Lawson above Colapinto?"
