December 29 will mark a decade since his tragic injury.
His old manager Willi Weber has revealed he has no 'hope' of seeing him again.
The 81-year-old scouted Schumacher as a teenager and managed his illustrious career, which saw him win seven F1 titles. He worked closely with the German's professional career and helped turn him into a global icon.

They enjoyed a close relationship, as Weber also managed Ralf Schumacher until November 2005.
But Weber claims he's been kept in the dark of Schumacher's life since his skiing accident.
"When I think of Michael now, unfortunately I don't have anymore hope that I will see him again. No positive news after 10 years," he told Cologne Express.

Weber also opened up on his grief over Schumacher's accident, revealing he regrets not paying him a visit in hospital after his accident.
He added: "Of course, I regret that very much and blame myself. I should have visited Michael in the hospital. I mourned like a dog after his accident."
Weber's bleak assessment of Schumacher comes six years after he accused the family of not being honest to the public about the former driver's condition.
He said: "I find it very unfortunate that Michael's fans do not know about his health. Why are they not being told the truth?"
