Max Verstappen has hinted at potential foul play by Formula 1 rivals during the 2024 season.
Having eased to the 2022 and 2023 titles, 2024 was very different as Red Bull Racing suffered a rare dip in form.
The Dutchman went through a winless streak that lasted more than three months.

Eventually, the drought ended in style as he went from 17th place to win the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Last month, Verstappen sealed his fourth successive title during the Las Vegas Grand Prix, after finishing ahead of closest challenger Lando Norris.
Throughout the season, there were controversies surrounding the legality of some cars on the grid.

For example, McLaren made headlines with their controversial rear wing, with Red Bull making an official complaint.
Later in the season, McLaren also complained about the legality of the Red Bull car as both teams fought to be constructor's champions.
In addition, there were also claims that some teams used a trick to help cool their tyres.
As reported by Auto Motor und Sport, via Planet F1, Red Bull accused McLaren and other teams of filling tyres with water in order to help with cooling.

Speaking this week to Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf Verstappen was asked about other teams pushing the boundaries in terms of the regulations.
He replied: "Things happened in the background that meant we had no chance at all in certain races. I know that for sure, but nobody will ever admit that."
During their fight for the title, Verstappen and Norris went wheel-to-wheel in multiple Grands Prix, with both men being handed penalties for pushing the boundaries slightly too far.

The pair had high-profile clashes in Austria, Austin and Mexico City.
When asked recently if he would have done things differently in Mexico, Verstappen said: "No, not at all in that race. I think I won points there.
"So like I said, I will always do everything to get the maximum result for a championship. And of course, sometimes you have to go to the limit or over the limit and not everyone understands that. Not everyone has that mentality."
The 2025 F1 season will begin in March with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
