Martin Brundle has picked out one flag within the Formula 1 regulations that should be banned.
During his career, Brundle had two spells in F1, racing for teams such as Williams, Brabham, Benetton, McLaren and Jordan.
Despite having no Grand Prix wins to his name, the 65-year-old did manage to finish on the podium on nine occasions, collecting 98 points throughout his career.
Since retiring, Brundle has been a popular figure as he is a key part of Sky Sports’ F1 coverage.

Recently, Brundle took to Reddit to answer questions from fans.
One fan asked: “What rule(s) in F1 do you think are a bit ridiculous? Or, on the flip side - are there any rules that you think should be imposed that aren't currently?”
Brundle replied: “I think we should ban blue flags. I think drivers have lost the skills of working the traffic, managing the traffic as we used to have to do - I quite liked that! And now everybody has to jump out of the way like school kids when the big boys come through in the fast cars.
“But the trouble is, with today's aerodynamics, you might never get past the back-markers. So, things have changed a little bit like that, but I do think it's a skill that's been lost. I think the rest of it has been fairly well fine-tuned, to be honest. In terms of the cars are well, they're scrutineers and they're well monitored for integrity and for safety and for legality and what have you.”

He added: “I think the races are a decent length. I'd probably shorten the Singapore Grand Prix a little bit like we do in Monaco. Monaco is 260km. I’d probably make Singapore 280km. All the other races, the most the first complete lap after 300km. So, tweak that a little bit. But, no, I'm, I'm calm how we are.
“I’ve never known Formula 1 as popular as it is today. So, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I would say that.”
F1 will return this weekend with the United States Grand Prix, taking place around the Circuit of the Americas.
