Lando Norris quickly realised that he could be fined by the FIA after the Qatar Grand Prix sprint race finished.
McLaren driver Norris qualified for the sprint in pole position and led the race from the start, but let team-mate Oscar Piastri past on the final straight of the final lap.
The Brit effectively returned the favour to Piastri, who had allowed him past in the sprint race in Brazil while Norris was still mathematically in championship contention against Max Verstappen.

Verstappen took the title in Las Vegas, meaning Norris had no issue with switching places - even though the team told him not to risk it with George Russell close behind.
Piastri, Norris and Russell all completed their media duties in the post-race press conference at the Losail circuit - but Norris had difficulty with one of his answers.
The Brit had trouble pronouncing the word 'privileges', before whispering: "S**t..."

It immediately dawned on Norris as to what he had done, with Russell quickly shouting: "That's a fine!"

The pair were, of course, jokingly referring to an incident in Singapore, where Verstappen was fined for swearing in a press conference.

Charles Leclerc was summoned to the stewards for a similar offence at Mexico, with the new rule - one of many controversial rules introduced by FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem - one of the key points of an open letter that all 20 drivers wrote to the FIA earlier this month.
Russell, who is the chairman of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association that published the letter, revealed in Las Vegas that the FIA had still not responded.
But F1's governing body stated on Saturday morning that it had held 'constructive dialogue' with all 20 drivers over various topics and concerns before the race weekend began in Qatar on Friday.
