Two Formula 1 teams have reportedly been summoned to the stewards ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.
On Friday morning, the first two practice sessions of the Japanese Grand Prix took place around the Suzuka Circuit.
McLaren dominated both sessions, with Lando Norris topping FP1 before Oscar Piastri went fastest in FP2.
Shortly after the second practice session ended, it was claimed that Ferrari and Aston Martin had been summoned to the stewards.

As reported by Planet F1, both teams have been called to face the stewards over alleged practice infringements during FP2.
According to the report, the FIA summoned Ferrari over an apparent breach of Article 12.2.1 i) of the International Sporting Code and non-compliance with the Race Director’s Event Note (item 11, document 4).
However, it is currently unclear which Ferrari car was at fault.
Aston Martin are facing the stewards with the same breach as Ferrari.

At the time, Fernando Alonso was out of the session, therefore, all things point to Lance Stroll being the potential culprit.
Planet F1 stated that the infringement relates to 'a practice start for Lance Stroll immediately following a red flag stoppage as he took up position at the end of the pitlane by overtaking queuing cars'.

As per the sport's regulations, all drivers must adhere to the Race Directors' notes when heading out on track during practice sessions.
The regulation states: "Any car(s) driven to the end of the pit lane prior to the start or re-start of a free practice session, qualifying session must form up in a line in the fast lane and leave in the order they got there."
Speaking after the session, Ferrari star Lewis Hamilton gave a positive review, he said: "It's been a really nice day. This track is awesome.
"We got through all the programme, we got some performance we need to pick up. We are not the quickest at the moment but I think it's a good baseline."
