An F1 driver has been banned for the next race following an incident that occurred during the Italian Grand Prix.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc won the Italian Grand Prix in Monza on Sunday, finishing ahead of McLaren duo Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
The Italian team adopted an unconventional one-stop strategy to their home race, and it paid off as Leclerc beat Piastri by 2.6 seconds.

Both McLaren drivers took two stops, meaning Leclerc would likely have finished in third place had Ferrari taken the same approach.
All three will race in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku later this month, but Haas driver Kevin Magnussen will not be joining them.
The Danish driver earned one point after finishing in tenth place, but after the race he received a punishment following a clash with Pierre Gasly.

Magnussen was given a 10-second penalty after making contact with the Alpine driver at the Variante della Roggia chicane.
The stewards deemed that Magnussen was entirely at fault, meaning his was given two penalty points. He has not reached the maximum of 12 penalty points in a year-long period, meaning he will serve a one-race suspension.
The stewards' statement read: "The stewards reviewed video and in-car video evidence. On the approach to Turn 4, Car 20 attempted to overtake Car 10 on the inside.
"Whilst Car 20 had its front axle past the mirror of Car 10, the Driving Standards Guidelines specify that an overtaking car has to “be driven in a safe and controlled manner throughout the manoeuvre.

"The stewards determined that this was not the case for Car 20 and hence the driver was wholly to blame for the collision and hence the standard penalty and penalty points are allocated."
Magnussen accrued his previous 10 penalty points in the opening five races of season.
Magnussen was "completely confused" by the decision, feeling it was as serious an issue as the earlier crash between teammate Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo.

"I don't understand it at all. You know, flat out, just completely confused. Me and Gasly raced hard into Turn 4. Before, we had slight contact, we both missed the corner, came back on track again, no damage to either car, no consequence to the race of either of us, and I get a 10-second penalty," Magnussen said.
"But lap 1, Ricciardo put Nico in the grass at 300km/h, completely destroyed Nico's race, massive consequence and damage to Nico's car, and he gets a five-second penalty. Where's the logic? I just don't get it."
