Martin Brundle was once snubbed by super model Cara Delevingne on the grid walk.
On Saturday, Red Bull's Max Verstappen qualified on pole ahead of Charles Leclerc and George Russell in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
But one of the race’s biggest talking points among fans on social media was Sky F1 presenter Brundle’s grid walk interview with Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

Several accounts on X, formally Twitter, remarked that Clarkson’s voice seemed drastically different to usual.
Brundle’s grid walk interviews often cause a stir online. None more so than a moment at last season’s British Grand Prix where supermodel Delevingne snubbed the veteran broadcaster.
Delevingne sparked plenty of debate when she refused to talk to the Sky Sports reporter at Silverstone. Trying to pin her down for a quick chat, Brundle was told by an F1 representative that "she doesn't want to talk."

The former British racing driver responded: “That's the deal now, everybody talks on the grid... can we have a quick chat at Sky F1? Good to see you on the grid.”
Brundle tried his utmost to provide viewers with an interview, only for his attempts to be in vain. In response, he sarcastically told viewers: “Okay, well, I'm sure it would have been extremely interesting”.
Delevingne subsequently responded to backlash on X, reposting Devin Altieri, who said: "At this point, Martin Brundle is just doing it to manufacture the moment for the controversy of it all.

"You can clearly see the PR rep tell him "no" and shake his head when he goes up towards Cara Delevingne. He had an out and he chose not to take it to make a statement."
Delevingne quote tweeted the statement and added: "I was told to say no so I did. Thank you for seeing both sides xxx."
