
The lap times from the first test session of the 2025 Formula 1 season have been collected.
On Wednesday morning, all eyes were fixated on the Bahrain International Circuit as testing got underway in front of the TV cameras.
In the morning session, one driver from each team took to the track, including the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson.

Naturally, a lot of attention was focused on Hamilton after his high-profile move from Mercedes to Ferrari.
During his first official test session for his new team, Hamilton was spotted making a handful of mistakes as he continued to get used to his new surroundings.
Meanwhile, Hamilton's replacement at Mercedes, Andrea Kimi Antonelli impressed as he topped the standings for some time.

New Red Bull star Lawson was the first driver to have a slightly bigger accident as he span out during one of his laps but luckily, no damage was done and he was able to continue.
In the end, Antonelli set the fastest lap, having clocked 1:31.428, 0.132 seconds ahead of Lawson who was in second place.
Williams star Alexander Albon was in third place, with a time of 1:31.573,

RB's Yuki Tsunosa came next with a fastest lap of 1:31.610.
Hamilton was in fifth place, with his fastest lap being a 1:31.834.
Rookie Jack Doohan of Alpine was sixth, with Alonso, Piastri, Nico Hulkenberg and Oliver Bearman completing the standings.

In the afternoon session, reigning world champion Max Verstappen will take to the track alongside the likes of Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, George Russell and Carlos Sainz.

The 2025 F1 season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix, which will be held around Albert Park in Melbourne on March 16.
