A mind-blowing Michael van Gerwen stat has emerged ahead of his semi-final showdown at the 2025 World Darts Championship.
Van Gerwen booked his spot in the semi-finals following a high-quality victory over Callan Rydz on Wednesday.
He beat Rydz 5-3 to set up a blockbuster clash against Chris Dobey, who beat Gerwyn Price in a thriller.
The semi-final game between Van Gerwen and Dobey intensified after the Dutchman called out his rival's 'nonsense'.

Ahead of returning to the oche, a stat from Van Gerwen's campaign at this year's competition emerged and fans can't get enough of it.
According to Darts Tracker, 'MVG' has reached the last four of the World Darts Championship without an attempt at Bullseye to win a leg.
His efficiency at the doubles stunned darts fans on social media as they made their feelings known.
One X user wrote: "That might be the most insane stat of the tournament wtf."

A second joked: "Not surprised, he’d marry D16 if he could."
A third added: "Wow. I love these stats. Definitely leaving him off my bull betting now."
Another said: "Naturally you'd presume he isn't leaving 121/81/125 a lot or these type of finishes. Or it could be that he's excellent at clutch treble hitting on these finishes."

Van Gerwen, who is aiming to win his first world title since 2019, called Dobey an 'interesting player' as he looked forward to tonight's match.
"Dobey is a very interesting player to play against because he can produce something really good," he said during his post-match press conference.
"So, you always have to make sure you keep maintaining your own fire and everything because he's a good player.
"So, I'm not going to underestimate him because I had my battles with him. I know what he's capable of and as long as you know, yeah, then everything is good."
