Dave Chisnall was left red-faced after he celebrated an unfortunate miscount during his second-round defeat to Ricky Evans at the World Darts Championship.
There has been an unusually high number of high-profile casualties at the Alexandra Palace this year, with Michael Smith, Danny Noppert, Gary Anderson, James Wade and Ross Smith exiting early on.
And on Monday night, sixth seed Dave 'Chizzy' Chisnall was knocked out in an entertaining five-set match that will ultimately be remembered for an embarrassing miscount.

As you can see in the footage below, Chisnall thought he had produced an impressive 139 finish with a triple 19, triple 14 and double 16 and even celebrated by throwing his hands up.
But moments later, the referee pointed out that 'Chizzy' required double 20 rather than double 16, which delivered one of the most awkward moments in World Championship history. Check it out below:
As you can imagine, those in the Sky Sports commentary box were left stunned by the unfolding events.

"Can we get any more drama than this?" said former player Glen Durrant. "A miscount at the most important time. Chisnall doesn't know what day it is. What a match this is and it deserves to go the distance."
Dan Dawson added: "A ridiculous miscount from Chizzy. That's a blinding 131 finish - shame it's not what he wanted."
Here's how fans on social media reacted to Chinsall's blunder.
One said: "Serious darting drama," while another wrote: "This was an unbelievable miscount from Dave Chisnall. In these circumstances, Chizzy held himself together brilliantly to finally win the leg on double one."
A third commented: "Possibly one of the games of the tournament so far from Dave Chisnall and Ricky Evans, the miscount from Chisnall to the scoring from both, fair play to both players on delivering a great game, pity one has to be beaten."

A fourth said: "We have just seen an all-timer of a miscount from Dave Chisnall that is unbelievable," and a fifth added: "That is not a time to miscount. Nightmare."
Speaking after the match, Evans gave his unorthodox take on the result.
"I played a world class player, I actually played well for once - normally it's poo, normally it's boring. Look at this, I'm a weird Kettering lad, I don't understand it, why are they cheering me on? I wished I'd have beat Chizzy 3-0 because my ticker would have been a bit better."

He added: "What am I doing the other 11 months of the year? I don't get this treatment in my household, I don't understand it! They kept getting louder and louder, what are they cheering me for?"
