Manchester City's newest summer recruit has been spotted arriving in the city ahead of a medical this weekend.
The Premier League champions reached an agreement over a transfer fee with RSC Anderlecht during the week, giving Sergio Gomez the green light to travel to the north-west of England.
Manchester City have reportedly agreed an initial £11 million fee with the Belgian club to sign the versatile left-back.

That fee could rise up to £16.9 million based on various performance-related add-ons, while Anderlecht are understood to be eligible to receiving 15% of any future sale.
Gomez - 21 - is set to become Manchester City's fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
Etihad officials have finalised deals for Stefan Ortega Moreno from Arminia Bielefeld, alongside Kalvin Phillips from fellow Premier League side Leeds United.

However, the marquee signing of the summer was undoubtedly Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Nevertheless, the signing of Sergio Gomez from RSC Anderlecht is an important one, as he brings an end to the club's summer-long pursuit of a first-team left-back.
This weekend, the Spanish youth international has been photographed arriving in Manchester to complete his City medical and the various contractual details at the club's City Football Academy HQ.
Pep Guardiola has also indicated that the signing of Sergio Gomez means Manchester City will not be searching for another left-back recruit this summer.

It had been reported elsewhere that Gomez could yet leave the club on loan for City Football Group's La Liga side, Girona.
However, the Manchester City manager's most recent comments suggest that the 21 year-old will compete with Joao Cancelo for the number one left-back role across the coming season.
Guardiola said on Friday afternoon, "The moment we decide for Sergio (Gomez), the debate for another left-back was over."

Speaking on the player himself, the City boss said, "We watched him more. I said, 'Okay, it's perfect - price, young, desire - okay, go'.
"He was a No.10 like Alex Zinchenko, now he adapt.
"When that happens, Cruyff told me that when a winger can play at left-back they will be the best left-back.
"When a holding midfielder can play as a central defender, they will be the best central defender."
