Manchester City forward Riyad Mahrez is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Premier League Champions.
Mahrez, who has made 189 appearances and won eight trophies with the Sky Blues since his £60 million move from Leicester City in 2018, looks set to become the latest member of Pep Guardiola's squad to sign a new deal.

The 31 year-old was the Champions' highest goalscorer for the second consecutive campaign last season, as Manchester City won their sixth Premier League title - a fourth under Pep Guardiola's management.
Mahrez has become an integral member of the Catalan's squad, playing a particularly important role in the UEFA Champions League, where the Algerian has scored 13 goals in 37 appearances.
The Blues are already due to lose two wide players this summer, after Gabriel Jesus completed a £45 million move to Arsenal and Raheem Sterling agreed a five-year deal with Chelsea.

However, Manchester City are set to secure the services of fellow winger Riyad Mahrez, with L'Equipe reporting that the 31 year-old is close to signing a contract extension.
The French outlet write that 'discussions are about to conclude' surrounding terms for a three-year deal, keeping the Algerian at the Etihad Stadium until at least 2025.
Mahrez's current contract was set to expire in 2023, with European heavyweights including Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Juventus having previously been linked with the City forward.

Guardiola used the former Leicester City player on 47 occasions last season, with the winger scoring 24 goals and assisting on a further nine occasions.
The Algerian would become the latest big name star to commit his long-term future to the club; following in the footsteps of Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo and Ederson - all of whom have signed long-term deals in the past 12 months.
Manchester City are further reported to be looking at offering improved terms to Rodri and Phil Foden ahead of the new campaign, with the latter on course to sign a bumper six-year deal worth a basic £200,000 a week.
Despite retaining the title, this summer has seen a refresh of Pep Guardiola's squad, following the additions of strikers Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, as well as midfielder Kalvin Phillips and goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.

The Blues are due to begin their pursuit of a hat-trick of titles away to West Ham next month.
Where a new left-back and possibly even central defender could also be in the squad, following continued speculation.
