A number of well-placed sources have stated Arsenal are edging closer to signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City this summer.

The 25-year-old has been long deemed to be Mikel Arteta's main target in attack ahead of the new campaign, having worked with the Gunners boss for three years at the Etihad Stadium.

Jesus has expressed a desire to leave Manchester City in search of regular first-team football to boost his chances of a starting spot for Brazil at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Here is everything that has been said recently by reliable sources on Gabriel Jesus and an impending move to Arsenal for the four-time Premier League champion this summer -

The story was broken by Mike Keegan at the Mail, who reported Arsenal are expected to finalise the arrival of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City in the next seven to 10 days.

It was mentioned Arsenal are closing in on a full agreement over a £50 million move for the Brazilian, with confidence amongst those involved in the deal that Jesus will sign for the Gunners.
