Manchester City are edging closer towards losing two of their first-team players to Chelsea this summer, following the latest update on the situation.

In a new development and update on Chelsea's pursuit of Manchester City players, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has offered insight into the situations concerning Sterling and Ake.
According to Fabrizio Romano, conversations between Chelsea and Manchester City for both Raheem Sterling and Nathan Aké are 'progressing well'.
It is further stated that both players are 'keen' on a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
An earlier report from Football London had claimed that Chelsea and Manchester City had already agreed on a fee for Sterling of an initial £45 million, plus a further £10 million in add-ons.

As for Nathan Ake, Manchester City are expected to hold out for a fee in the region of £50 million and make sure they have a replacement in mind before sanctioning an exit.
As for Cucurella and how the aforementioned potential deals affects his future, Romano reports that Manchester City are currently waiting to sell at least one more player in order to submit their opening bid for the left-back.
In the way of exits from the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City have predominantly looked at shifting on rising youth talents this summer.

Closer to home, Romeo Lavia is closing in on a £10 million switch to Southampton, while Gavin Bazunu has made the exact same move in a deal that could total £15 million.
Young prospect midfielder Darko Gyabi is also closing in on a £5 million switch to Leeds United.
Further afield, and Samuel Edozie looks set to complete a move to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, in a deal that could hit £10 million.
