Phil Foden has provided an insight into training alongside summer signing Erling Haaland.
It comes as no surprise why Erling Haaland has become the talk of the town ever since he officially became a Manchester City player.
Alongside PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, the generational marksman is expected to dominate world football for years to come.

Additionally, the youngster comes with the reputation of being one of, if not the most devastating striker in Europe since his move from Borussia Dortmund.
City fans are particularly excited for the 22-year old’s arrival, which finally brings an end to their long-awaited wait for a natural number nine.
It is also worth noting that considering the fact that the Norwegian has joined City as the long-term heir to Sergio Agüero, supporters will be keen on discovering whether he is fit to replace the club’s all-time top goalscorer.

Phil Foden, who is expected by many to combine superbly with Haaland during the 2022/23 campaign, was asked about his thoughts on the striking sensation so far.
“He’s a top guy, off the pitch. He’s a great character. As you may well see with his singing as well. He’s a great addition into the team, makes everyone laugh and he’s dead humble”, he revealed in an interview with Sky Sports Football.
‘The Stockport Iniesta’ continued, “And I think that’s important when you come into a team that you’re dead humble and know what everyone wants. He’s just like this and he’s hungry to achieve things with us, so it could only mean good things.”

The versatile attacker was also quizzed about whether he feels jealous of Haaland and Grealish’s blossoming relationship off the pitch.
“No jealousy, you know. All the lads get on so top together. Definitely helps when you know a team is so connected. We give everything for each other on the pitch as well and everyone can see that we’re all together and have each other’s back.”
With Jack Grealish recently claiming that the £51 million man would become unstoppable once he reaches full fitness, having seen him in training for a couple of weeks, Phil Foden was quizzed about whether he shares his England and City teammate’s views.

“Yeah, definitely. In front of goal, he’s scary. Everyone knows his goal record; how many he scores. He’s coming into a completely different league. Much faster football. So, it might take him a little (time) to get used to it, but I’m sure when he gets into his full flow, he’s going to be unstoppable.”
Finally, the 22-year old was questioned about whether he has ever played alongside a striker of Erling Haaland’s ilk, before being asked whether Sergio Agüero’s finishing was of a similar standard.
“Agüero is very similar. Haaland’s got all different types of finishes as well. As I said, he’s really scary in front of goal and if we can get him the ball in the right areas, he’s going to be really important for us this year.”
