Phil Foden has admitted Manchester City want to win every competition this season, but singled out the UEFA Champions League as a particular target.
After winning back-to-back Premier League titles, Pep Guardiola has refreshed and replenished his squad in an attempt to maintain the same levels of hunger.
Only on very rare occasions do teams have the opportunity to win three consecutive domestic titles - but that is the challenge that presents the Blues this season.

City have lost the likes of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, but replaced them with elite goalscorer Erling Haaland and exciting youngster Julian Alvarez.
They are expected to make their Premier League debuts on Sunday, when City take on West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Ahead of the opener, Stockport-born Foden has been discussing how City will adapt to their new signings and what his personal and collective aims are for the season.

“I don’t think there will be many big changes,” Foden told the club's official website.
“We always try and play the same way throughout the years and play the same system. I don’t think there is going to be a lot that changes.
“Hopefully, we can just keep playing well and winning games."
Moving on to talk about his objectives, Foden stressed that a club like City play to win every competition, but highlighted one particular trophy as a key target.

“We want to show the fans that we are always hungry to win. Not just me, but the team as well.
“We are all motivated to try and win titles again this year.
“The goals for the team, we go for every competition. I can’t really say win them all because that is hard to do, but if we can get the Champions League, that is the aim this year."

Foden continued, “We really want to win that. We have been so close.
“Individually, I want to try and score more goals than last season, get better stats and try to improve my game."
Since breaking through the ranks at such a young age, Foden has propelled himself to stardom with some elite performances under Guardiola.
Many were critical of the 22-year-old's slow integration into the Blues side, but I think it's fair to say his patience is paying off at present.

As another hectic season kicks off, Foden will be expected to play another central role in any success City achieve.
