Manchester City ran out 4-0 winners in their second league game of the Premier League campaign against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
Pep Guardiola's men followed on from last weekend after their opening day triumph away at West Ham, when Erling Haaland netted at either side of the interval on his Premier League debut.
Kevin De Bruyne picked up right where he left off against West Ham with an early ball squared into the area that was cleared out for a corner, with Nathan Ake coming close to scoring within 90 seconds of play against his former club.

In front of a roaring crowd at the Etihad Stadium, Rodri was next to come close to heading the ball in as Manchester City dominated the opening stages and pinned the visitors deep into their own half.
Riyad Mahrez, making his first league start of the season, was full of tricks on the right side as he went past Jack Stacey and was brought down by the Bournemouth defender, who was cautioned for bringing the Algerian down.
It was wave after wave of City attacks as Mahrez, who went for goal from the free kick he won, hit one from distance after receiving the ball around the area but his effort went high up the stands.

It should have been one when Phil Foden collected the ball from Kevin De Bruyne's shot into the box and went for goal, where he perhaps could have played Erling Haaland in to tap home.
De Bruyne was at it again just past the 10 minute mark as the Belgian delivered an inch-perfect ball in a threatening area, though Bournemouth were again let off as no blue shirts were at the end of the cross.
It was the skipper who broke the deadlock as Ilkay Gundogan played a neat give and go with Erling Haaland and placed the ball in the far corner to grab his 50th goal for Manchester City across all competitions.

Haaland very nearly made it two immediately after as Rodri clipped a lovely ball over the top into Haaland, who did well to hold off the challenge from the Cherries backline only for Mark Travers to collect the ball.
Bournemouth did manage to threaten on the counter a couple of times in the first half but they soon went two down as Kevin De Bruyne collected the ball from Phil Foden and drove towards the defence to cleverly curl the ball into the left bottom corner from the edge of the area.

After nearly conceding one themselves, City made it three with less than 10 minutes left in the first half with a fast counter where Mahrez played a delightful switched ball to De Bruyne, who found Phil Foden with a well-weighed pass and the England international made no mistake.
City continued to dominate at the start of the second half and nearly went four up through De Bruyne, who asserted his dominance over Scott Parker's side from start to finish.
It was almost a fourth yet again when Ilkay Gundogan was played in by Riyad Mahrez near the edge of the box just ahead of the 60-minute mark.
Gundogan lined one up but missed the right hand post, minutes before Mahrez tested Travers from distance in what was an assault from City on the visitors' backline.

Despite picking up some dangerous positions throughout his home debut, Haaland failed to make it count when Grealish found him in the box - a chance the Norwegian will be gutted to squander as he was replaced by Julian Alvarez shortly after.
Bournemouth did well to prevent Guardiola's side from making it four until late on but it was again in the net as Jefferson Lerma poked it into his own net in the 80th minute after some incredible footwork from Joao Cancelo on the left side of the box.
Julian Alvarez came close to scoring his first goal in the Premier League whilst Kyle Walker came off for 17-year-old Rico Lewis, who made his league debut after emerging from the academy ranks.
