Marc Cucurella is certainly doing everything he can to force a move through to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The 24-year-old defender has been linked with a move to Manchester City for months as Oleksandr Zinchenko recently left for Arsenal.
Brighton are understood to be holding out for a fee in the region of £50 million for the left back, who has four years remaining on his contract at the Amex Stadium.

City have so far being reluctant to exceed £40 million in an offer for Cucurella, who has made his desire of joining Pep Guardiola's side clear to the Seagulls.
Cucurella has requested Brighton's hierarchy to allow him to complete a transfer to Manchester City, whose opening offer for the Barcelona academy graduate was seen as laughable in the south coast.
City will now make a final attempt to close a deal for Cucurella in the coming days as the clubs remain £10 million apart in their valuations of the defender.

Marc Cucurella has handed in a transfer request at Brighton but that is not understood to have altered the Seagulls' stance on their valuation of the full-back.
Cucurella is believed to have spoken to Brighton manager Graham Potter and the board about his desire to join City, who should be able to agree personal terms with the Spaniard.
As it stands, there is no suggestion the south coast club would be willing to sanction a sale for Cucurella for a fee lower than their asking price.
Simon Stone, BBC
Marc Cucurella is thought to consider Brighton's £50 million asking price as unrealistic.
