Manchester City are now aware of who they could possibly face in the last-16 of this season's UEFA Champions League.

Pep Guardiola's side are set to conclude their Champions League group stage campaign on Wednesday night, as they host La Liga's Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium on matchday six.

The reigning Premier League champions have largely cruised through Group G, despite back-to-back goalless draws on matchday four and five.

Securing their place on matchday four with a 0-0 draw against Copenhagen, Manchester City then cemented their place at the top of the group with another 0-0 draw a week later against Borussia Dortmund.

Draw Rules

In the draw for the Champions League round of 16, the eight group winners are seeded, and the eight group runners-up are unseeded.

The seeded teams (group winners) are drawn against the unseeded teams (group runners-up), with the seeded teams hosting the second-leg of their last-16 tie.

Teams from the same group or the same association can not be drawn against each other.
