City Xtra have obtained new images of the Manchester City 2022/23 away kit.
Manchester City are due to release their away strip for the new campaign on Tuesday.
The kit, which has been long anticipated and hotly speculated by supporters, has another link to the Blues' rich history.

Based off of both shirts from 1968 and the 2011/12 season, Puma's latest strip reverts to the famous red and black stripes.
After years of concept designs and requests from fans, Puma are set to bring back the red and black classic with a modern twist.
Red and black diagonal stripes accompanied by golden lettering makes up the 2022/23 away shirt.
The Manchester City crest is black with golden outlining, as evident by new images obtained by City Xtra.

Nexen Tyre continue to sponsor the sleeve, with the Puma logo on the opposite sleeve.
Despite some claims that the red and black print would continue on the back of the shirt, new pictures show that the entirety of the away top is black on the back.
A v-neck collar makes up the 2022/23 away City shirt.

The new shirt is the latest Puma kit have a story behind it, similar to the Sky Blues' newly released home shirt.
The top, which led to record sales when launched in May, paid homage to club legend Colin Bell, who tragically passed away in January 2021.
Drawing upon the glory days under Bell, a retro style strip sees City's crest move to the centre and Puma badge directly underneath.

Maroon and white makes up the collar and sleeves on the Blues' home shirt.
Both jersey's could be debuted in the next week, when Guardiola's squad take to the pitch for pre-season friendlies in the US.
The Premier League Champions face Club America in Texas on Wednesday, and Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich at Lambeau Fields, Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Saturday.

City begin their Premier League campaign away to West Ham United at the London Stadium next month.
The Blues, who have so far added Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, Kalvin Phillips and Stefan Ortega to their squad, also face Liverpool in the FA Community Shield at the King Power Stadium on Saturday 30th July.
