After just over five years of service, Gabriel Jesus has today left Manchester City to join fellow Premier League side, Arsenal.
In a deal worth £45 million, the Blues hierarchy will undoubtedly be delighted to make around £20 million profit on their initial investment, but disappointed to lose a striker with a lot of talent.
In the end, the 25-year-old's desire to play regular first-team football has forced him into a fresh start and a reunion with former Manchester City assistant coach, Mikel Arteta - who has been Arsenal manager for over two years now.
During his time at the Etihad Stadium, the Brazil international played 236 times for Manchester City, scoring a total of 95 goals and notching a further 46 assists.

For so long, Gabriel Jesus had to play understudy to the club's greatest ever goalscorer, Sergio Agüero and pushed the former Argentine international to ever higher levels of performance - particularly under current manager Pep Guardiola.
Gabriel Jesus typically popped up in some of the Blues' most crucial moments.
In the 2017/18 season, on the final day and with Manchester City already crowned Premier League champions, the Brazilian scored a 93rd minute winner against Southampton to secure an historic 100-point campaign.
A moment that will live long in the memory of every City fan.
That was Gabriel Jesus' first Premier League title triumph, but he also played a major role in three further domestic title successes, one FA Cup - where he scored the winner in the semi-final and a brace in the final - and four Carabao Cups.

He also featured off the bench in Manchester City's first-ever Champions League final in 2021 - a day the Blues suffered heartbreak against Chelsea in Porto.
Most recently, he joined Sergio Agüero and Edin Dzeko as the only Manchester City players to score four goals in a Premier League match, with his rout of Watford at the Etihad Stadium.
His strikes against Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League will also live long in the memory, but Gabriel Jesus has never really been able to nail down a starting spot.

Everyone at City Xtra would like to thank Gabriel for his efforts in Sky Blue and wish him the very best of luck for the future!
